P - Parenting 

We provide resources and services to help parents strengthen their relationships with their children. Parenting support services include supervised visitation, neutral exchange, parenting classes and parent coaching. Services offered by The Harmony Home Family Resource Center are rendered by experienced paraprofessionals and trained professionals who are dedicated to improving the lives of families. Services can be self-referred, agency-referred, or court-ordered and can also be utilized by individuals and families outside of Jefferson County and/or out-of-state

R - Referrals 

We understand that families face a wide array of challenges, some of which may be outside of our scope. As part of our commitment to support and improve the lives of families, The Harmony Home referrals to partner agencies and trusted community organizations for additional resources and services as necessary. 

O - Outreach 

We offer a low-cost meeting space for non-profit organizations, neighborhood associations, groups and businesses. As a community outreach effort we believe that providing a foundation for for collaboration, education and mutual support is essential in building stronger, more connected families, neighborhoods and communities.  Additionally, We host free community outreach events to increase awareness of our programs and services and their benefits to families. We also participate in outreach events in the community to promote our mission. 

M - Mental Wellness

Mental Health services provided by The Harmony Home are designed to improve the functioning of the child and the family. We service children, adolescences and adults and provide individual therapy, family therapy and therapeutic support groups.   All services are rendered by licensed professionals who use a variety of approaches and techniques to skillfully address client needs. 

I - Information

We collaborate with community partners and local organizations to offer free events and workshops to families that are informational and align with the mission of The Harmony Home. 

Our workshops offer families the opportunity to learn about a variety of topics focused on an improved wellbeing. Participation is beneficial to families and the community as it provides knowledge, resources and skills to manage challenges, strengthen relationships and thrive in the community. 

S - Support

We provide comprehensive support services that assist families in building healthy relationships and strengthening the family unit. We also offer support to parents through parent support groups, and structured parent-child playgroups.

E - Education

Parental Education courses offered by The Harmony Home are court approved and facilitated by trained professionals. The curriculum used is family-centered, trauma informed and evidence based. The course focuses on positive parenting practices, discipline, child development and healthy parent-child relationships.
